In Arizona we are all trying to beat the heat this summer. The easiest way to do this is with your pool. But what if you don’t have a pool? How can you enjoy the outdoors without your own pool? Angels RE Group wanted to investigate the alternatives and share. Here are 4 options that will help you cool down.
1) Above Ground Pool
This is a great alternative to building a pool and helps if you are limited in backyard space. You can find these at Wal-Mart, Costco or local shop’s specializing in pool products.
2) Local Community Pool
Over 25 public pools are located around the Valley. Some even offer swim and dive lessons. During the weekdays most pools are open from 1:00pm until 7:00pm and 11 of these locations are open on weekends. Day passes are relatively inexpensive and prices vary for adults and children.
3) Hotel or Resort
We are blessed by a variety of beautiful hotels and resorts at our disposal in the Valley. Summertime provides the perfect opportunity to take advantage of these amenities and enjoy a “stay-cation”. At most hotels you will find at the very least a pool. At the more luxurious resorts, you can find multiple pools, water slides and lazy rivers.
4) Water Park
Phoenix has 2 well known water parks, Wet n Wild and Big Surf. Equipped with slides, rides and wave pools, these places can provide fun for the whole family. Though these parks are generally open only during the weekends, Wet n Wild offers a “dive-n-movie”, 8/14, before converting to their weekend only schedule.
Angels RE Group hopes you enjoyed reading about these ways to cool off this summer. Take advantage of these opportunities around the Valley and enjoy some time with your family and friends. Don’t forget the sunscreen!
